Today, Sunday the 29th of March, the families of the martyr Mostafa Karim Beigi, Mohamad Nourizad, Masoumeh Dehghan the wife of Abdolfatah Soltani, Akran Zeinali the mother of Saeed Zeinali,  Mahboubeh Karami, the mothers of Laleh Park and a number of civic activists visited the family of Navid Khanjani, a human rights and education rights activist.

NKH Shahnaz Karim Beigi, the mother of  the martyr Mostafa Karim Beigi, one of the 2009 Ashura Martyrs, wrote on her Facebook page:

“We went to visit the family of Navid Khajani (1).  Navid is our sweet lovable Green Movement boy who was unjustly sentenced to 12 years of prison. He is currently in Rajai’ Shahr Prison, and is amongst the youngest individuals there. The only thing that Navid wanted was a right to an education…

“Navid’s family is a lovable and oppressed family who want nothing else for their son than his freedom and the right to pursue an education for himself and for the rest of their children who share the same religion.”

Atena Forghani prior to her arrest had written the following for Navid Khanjani, the education rights activist and deprived Baha’i student:

“This time I’m not addressing anyone but myself, the same self who kept silence due to selfishness and to ensure staying inside the box.  Now that you have been kept from continuing your movement, you have come to understand,   I am telling myself to be transparent and to be the voice of the women and men who, due to being Baha’is, no circle of boxes accepts…”
