HRANA News Agency – Mehran Eslami, A Baha’i citizen residing in Yazd, reported to Yazd prison to start his prison term.Based on a report from HRANA News Agency – The news organization of Human Rights Activists in Iran – Mehran Eslami, who was sentenced to a one year prison term and a one year suspended term, reported to Yazd prison on April 4th to start serving his sentence.

This Baha’i citizen had been summoned to prison a month earlier to start his term. However, the execution of his sentence was postponed due to illness. According to HRANA reports, Mehran Eslami is one of the twenty Baha’i citizens who have been summoned since the month of February, ten of whom have already started serving their sentences.
