Amanollah Mostaghim, a professor at the Baha’i Institute for Higher Education (BIHE – the Baha’i Open University) who has been assigned to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj, has received time off due to illness.

This Baha’i from Shiraz, who was sentenced to five years of prison, is diabetic; he also has heart disease, and for this reason doctors have declared the stress of prison conditions to be dangerous to him.

As reported by Saham: due to the upcoming end date of the sentences of BIHE faculty, Amanollah Mostaghim’s three day break could possibly result in his final release.
