(BWNS in Persian, 5 Farvardin 1390 [25 March 2011]) — On 26 Esfand 1389 (17 March 2011), former members of the Iranian Yaran (“Friends”) were visited by their families.
The visits took place “cabin style”.
Their final decree has been relayed to them at the prison. They were told that in a “revised judgement” , which was handed down following the declaration of the order of the Review Court (which had reduced their original 20-year sentence to 10 years), the order of the Review Court has been set aside, and therefore their sentence remains a 20 year imprisonment for each of them.
