Islamic Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj issued order for the destruction of Baha’i cemetery of Sanandaj

The Islamic Revolutionary Court of the city of Sanandaj confirmed an order issued by its sixth branch regarding the destruction of the Baha’i cemetery on August 3, 2013. More than 40 Baha’i families currently reside in the city of Sanandaj. Several religious activists have been arrested due to the violation of human rights and religious minorities this year. Recently, on July 6, 2013, one of the Baha’is of Sanandaj, Samim Zarei, was arrested by the security police.
