An AMAZING team of activists based in Johannesburg, South Africa just forwarded this video along of the immense amount of support for the human & civil rights for the people of Iran, particularly in support of Mohammad Oliyaifard and Behrouz Tehrani. The opening of the world cup coincides with a 12 June campaign in South Africa, which includes month long bus advertisements and two days of newspaper advertisements. Watch to see buses with mosaics of prisoners of conscience, as well as energetic support of the people of Iran by avid soccer fans.
Thanks to all these tireless organizers for bringing the issue of human rights violations to one of the most beloved international sporting events.
