HRANA – For two months now, the Baha’i cemetery in Ahwaz has been blocked off with concrete blocks, and the burial of deceased Baha’is has been prevented. According to HRANA, the Human Rights Activists News Agency, the Baha’i cemetery in Ahwaz was closed off about two months ago, and the streets leading to the site were sealed off with large concrete blocks. No one has claimed responsibility for this action. About one month ago, Baha’is went to bury the bodies of their deceased relatives in the cemetery, but were unable to do so. An informed source told HRANA: “We have been investigating the restriction this whole time, but we have not received any answers.”
It should be mentioned that on Monday, April 28th 2014, a team of lift trucks and excavators went to destroy the Baha’i cemetery of Shiraz (referred to as “The Eternal Rose Garden” or “Garden of Eternity”) in order to begin constructing a cultural center.
According to recent reports, the destruction of the Baha’i cemetery in Shiraz has begun. Last year, the Baha’i cemetery in Sanandaj was ordered to be destroyed.

It is good for the entire world to know and realize that “Iranian Cultural Centres” under the Islamic Government are built on desecrated cemeteries and Holy Places of other religions. From its very “foundation” the “Cultural centre” is based on practices of the medieval period. How proud must be the IRI government and the Iranian people that promote it. No wonder that they have lost all respect in every corner of the planet for their barbaric practices at home.
