HRANA – Amin Zolfaghari, a Baha’i citizen living in Yazd, was arrested by security forces on Thursday, May 21st, and transferred to the city’s prison. Mr. Zolfaghari’s detention is said to be for a month.
According to HRANA, the news agency of Human Rights in Iran, Amin Zolfaghari, a Baha’i in Yazd, was arrested by security forces on Thursday, June 22, 2016, and transferred to the city’s prison.
Mr. Zolfaghari’s arrest warrant is said to have been issued one month ago.
A source close to the citizen’s family told HRANA the reason for his arrest: “Amin Zolfaghari was accused of propagating the Baha’i Faith, and has been arrested for this reason.”
