Harana News Service – Ms. Rozita Vasseghi, a Baha’i citizen residing in Mashhad, who had been arrested along with Nahid Ghadiri, another Baha’i citizen, on 24 Esfand 1388 [15 March 2010] and freed on 24 Farvardin 1389 [13 March 2010], has been transferred to the quarantine section of Mashhad’s Vakilabad prison.
According to Harana reporters, Ms Vasseghi has had no visits with her family, nor has she been allowed a lawyer throughout her one-and-one-half month incarceration.
It is worth noting that so far Vasseghi family’s efforts to contact the Information Office and the Revolutionary Court of Simnan have borne no fruit. One of the case officers in the Revolutionary Court has stated that the charges against this prisoner are “insult to holiness”.
