In the morning of 16 July 2016, officers of the Office of Information in Shiraz raided a Baha’i residence in which a few Baha’i friends had gathered to consult about some environmental protection issues. In addition to confiscating the belongings of those who were present, they also took a video clip while interrogating them. Finally they arrested them and transferred them to the remand center of the Office of Information of Shiraz. This is commonly known as number 100.
In addition the officers took the mobile phones and laptops of those in the gathering. They also took their religious books and pictures.
Then the officers went to these individuals’ residences, and after a thorough search, took their computers, tablets, mobile phones and even their vehicles.
The people arrested and placed in the remand centre were: Yekta Fahandezh, Sa’adi, Nooshin Zenhari, Behnam Azizpour, Saiid Hasani and Ramin Shirvani.
