Peyman Koushkbaghi and Behnam Moosivand Exiled to Rajaei Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Peyman Koushkbaghi and Behnam Moosivand, two prisoners from ward number 8 of Evin prison were exiled to Rajaei Shahr prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Peyman Peyman Koushkbaghi and Behnam Moosivand, Bahai, and Behnam Moosivand, prisoners of ward number 8 of Evin prison, who were exiled to Rajaei Shahr prison on Thursday, October 6, were transferred from quarantine ward to hall 12 of ward number 4.

Peyman Koushkbaghi and his wife, Azita Rafizadeh, were arrested in 2011 on charge of cooperation with online university of Baha’is. This couple who are graduated from this university in computer science, were teaching Baha’i students who were deprived of education.

Ms. Azita Rafizadeh, one of the instructors of the Bahai university, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for teaching and is serving her sentence in Evin prison. His husband, PeymanKoushkbaghi was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Peyman Koushkbaghi was arrested by three plainclothes on February 27 when he went for visiting his wife, Azita Rafizadeh, along with his 6-year-old son. He was transferred to ward number 8 of Evin prison after about a month in solitary confinement.

Behnam Moosivand, a civil rights activist, was sentenced to one year in prison in a case along with Arash Sadeghi, Golrokh Iraei and Navid Kamrani. With the calculation of his previous conditional two years, he has to serve three years in total.
