U.K. MP Opik expresses concern for Iran's Baha'is on BBC

(BBC) Since Iran’s disputed presidential elections it is believed that the authorities have detained hundreds of opposition supporters, journalists and protestors alike.

There have also been a number of deaths. One persecuted group includes the followers of the Baha’i faith – the European Union has reiterated its deep concern.

As chair of the all party parliamentary Baha’i group the MP for Montgomeryshire Lembit Opik, has raised the issue in Parliament and he spoke to our reporter Bethan James.
