Trial date announced for seven Baha’i “leaders” held in Tehran’s Evin Prison

(BWNS) Attorneys in Iran have received formal notification of a trial date of 12 January in the case of the five men and two women who were arrested in the spring of 2008 and have been held in Tehran’s Evin Prison for more than a year and a half.

The seven Bahá’ís formerly comprised the small group that had been attending to the spiritual and social needs of the several hundred thousand Bahá’ís of Iran.

    The whole world is watching. Credibility of the system is at stake. The history will remember the result of this trial. This is a test of justice, truthfulness, Faith, compassion, Forgiveness, bravery,detachment, sacrifice, spiritual world against material world, love against hate, sweetness against bitterness and…………………….

    So many people, Baha’is and members of the world’s great Faiths across the world await this verdict. This verdict could be a great moment, in which Iran shows compassion and inspires the world with its humanity and desire for fairness, before the world. As a blessed soul said here, many months ago; there is still time to do the right thing.

    ARE THEY SO SURE THAT THEY ARE NOT ON TRIAL BY GOD INSTEAD BY THEIR ACTIONS AND THAT THEY WILL BE SEALING THEIR OWN VERDICT IN DUE TIME?????!!!!!!
