(RAHANA, 1 March 2011) Baha’i citizen Peyman Kashfi was detained on February 14th in order to being serving his 4 year prison sentence.
Judge Moghayeseh had sentenced him to 4 years in prison for membership in anti-regime groups (belonging to the Baha’i faith).
The Human Rights House of Iran reports that his sentence was upheld by the appeals court. He had been detained in October of last year and was later released on bail.
