This article doesn’t go into detail here but did the authorities charge the Baha’is with any wrong doing other than being Baha’is?

The Iranian authorities cannot confiscate the contents of their hearts. For shame! Sending a nine-year old girl to jail for her family’s religion! That is pure cowardice.

Not surprising. In Isfahan, there is a grand mosque. It used to be called the ‘Mosque of the King’ ( I forget which king ordered it built .. but it is magnificent ). Now it is renamed the ‘Mosque of Imam Khomaini’ ( I think ). When you enter this sacred space of worship, you encounter the best of Islamic architecture … and calligraphy, with verses of the Koran inscribed with marble. In this sacred space, the Islamic Leaders of Faith ( the most learned of the Shiite wold ) have hung a banner to teach people about the rod of God : “Death To Israel” .. .. Yes, they teach that in their most scared space …. that is what Islam has become. This is why we have so much hatred emanating from Islam … which will make it even more despised in the world !!

I wonder what Prophet Mohammad would think of his followers today ????

Once again the doves of love, peace and unity are clutched within the talons of the owls of iniquity and tyranny and even unto the far side of the globe humanity cries out for the persecuted Baháis of Iran. Every lover of fairness and justice, of whatever belief, faith or nation, groans with the sadness of this news. Our love and prayers are with them.

I’m praying for the realization of Abdu’l-Baha’s hope.

“My hope is that through the zeal and ardour of the pure of heart, the darkness of hatred and difference will be entirely abolished, and the light of love and unity shall shine; this world shall become a new world; things material shall become the mirror of the divine; human hearts shall meet and embrace each other; the whole world become as a man’s native country and the different races be counted as one race.

Then disputes and differences will vanish, and the Divine Beloved be revealed on this earth.”

In a recent interview Mr. Ahmadinejad claimed that Islam is a world religion. How could anyone join a religion that incarcerates a 9 year old child!? Shame on this shameless infamous regime, which will undoubtedly be numbered as the “acts of evil” in the future history books! Our prayers are with all innocent people suffering at the hands of these types of evil doers. Baha’u’llah promised that He will punish anyone who inflicts sorrow upon innocent people. God willing we’ll witness this promise soon.
