Jaras: Since the recent murder of Ataollah Rezvani, an active member of the Baha’i community of Bandar Abbas by an unknown gunman, State and Federal officials have said and done nothing about it .
Mr. Rezvani had worked diligently on many community improvement projects, and started a company with a non-Baha’i colleague selling water pumps. Regarding the very suspicious killing of Mr. Rezvani, many things have been said, but until now government officials have remained in total silence.
The Persian publication Neday-Sabz reported that although such a killing normally would have been reported, there has still been no response by either judicial or governmental officials.
Mr. Rezvani was gunned down on Aug. 24 in his car, murdered execution-style by a single shot to the back of his head.
Ataollah Rezvani was a former member of the Khadimin (“Servants” — administrative leaders of the local Baha’i community). His family members have stated that he had previously been threatened by government intelligence agents and local high-level clergy. Also, prior to this tragedy, two well-known local Baha’is had been injured by knife-wielding attackers.

It is obvious that a murderer will never announce his deeds to the public via media or newspapers. Hence, there is no surprise that the Iranian Government officials (aka. the murderers) will remain silent and do nothing about it.
simply stated:
Islamic Republic of Iran = Murderer.
