Their homes were searched and personal items, including electronic devices, were confiscated, and all three individuals were arrested and transferred to an unknown location.

Since the beginning of the new year, officials at Behesht-e-Zahra Cemetery have prevented the release of Baha’i deceased bodies from the mortuary to their families and have buried the bodies of three individuals in Khavaran Cemetery, without informing the families or any observants of religious rites.  Among the deceased was Ezat Zarghami, Shadi Shahidzadeh’s grandfather.

It is possible that the arrest of these Baha’i citizens is related to this issue.
