Baha’i arrested in Semnan
A Baha’i who had been recently sentenced to 3 years in prison has been called before the Revolutionary Court, arrested and transferred to Semnan prison.

As reported by Harana, Manijeh Monzavian, a Baha’i resident of Semnan, who had previously been sentenced to 3 years in prison in Tehran on charges of propaganda against the regime and membership in an illegal organization, was called before the Revolutionary Court in Semnan on Saturday the 8th of Esfand, was arrested on the spot and transferred to Semnan prison. It is expected that she will be transferred to Evin Prison in the days to come.
After the Ashura demonstrations and certain accusations against members of the Iranian Baha’i community of participation in protest demonstrations, the campaign against them has been intensified.
