[Justice4BahaiYouth, 23 Sep 2011] The Baha’i’s in Iran, the country’s largest religious minority, have been persecuted since the 1979 revolution. Thousands were arrested and hundreds executed. Today, over 100 Baha’i’s are unjustly imprisoned including seven former community leaders and a number of educationalists. Iranian Baha’i’s are barred from university and even prevented from holding their own higher educational classes.
