Thank you for sharing the sweetness and power of the voice of beloved Hand of the Cause of God Dr. Muhajir! It is like being in his presence once again!

Someone sincerely concerned about the Baha’i prisoners in Iran suggested a way to get them out using a political influence. I responded that this situation is awakening the spirit of righteousness (“pono” in Hawaiian) in the hearts of people everywhere. When this chapter of life is concluded, there will be more than the relatively few Baha’is who will have been freed.

This really is such a sweet talk. I always loved Dr. Muhajir through his biography written by his beloved wife, and now to hear his voice and this lovely talk on how every time we feel our own pulse, it is really the blood of the martyrs that courses through our veins, gives me goosebumps.

Dear friends I feel we have to say a prayer for the Iranian friends especially those who are imprisoned, every time we touch our prayer book. In this fasting month we can say it when we start and end our fast. We can dedicate this very fast for them. I just think of those righteous people, sitting in a prison cell. People who lived well and now in a cell. What is their condition? How are they treated, everyday…what tests, what they are made to endure. Prisoners are beaten to death without trial in so many parts of this failing world. Imagine these gentle souls in that situation, with the government backing them the prison officers could be torturing them in any way they please. I am thinking of their gentle faces shocked at the way life in the cell is. I cant even go on writing this thinking of them. They are there facing that torture. Please dear friends pray so hard for the just world to step in and stop those heartless and fanatical rulers of Iran. Please.

“We have made abasement the garment of glory, and affliction the adornment of Thy temple, O Pride of the worlds.
Thou seest the hearts are filled with hate, and to overlook is Thine, O Thou Concealer of the sins of the worlds.
When the swords flash, go forward! When the shafts fly, press onward!
O Thou Sacrifice of the worlds.”

It goes without saying that Baha’is are agonized and deeply moved by the thought of what the reality is for the prisoners of conscience in Iran. In my part of the world, many, many people have come together joyfully in their name. The legacy of the Yaran cannot be measured; love will conquer . . . all.
